Starting from April 2024, Hotelpremio Group will represent and support Oman's oldest travel agency, Bahwan Tourism LLC, in Hungary. Established in 1978, the tour operator holds a 15-20% market share in Omani tourism. In addition to organizing tours and programs, it also serves as a General Sales Agent (GSA) for airlines, representing SaudiAir and Ethiopian Airlines in Oman. The tourism company employs 200 people and is part of Suhail Bahwan Holding, which comprises 41 companies across various industries, including construction, IT, and automotive, employing nearly 20,000 people in total.

In early May, we organized and accompanied travel agency partners specializing in exotic, luxury, and corporate trips to Oman, a country three times the size of Hungary. The purpose was to familiarize them with Bahwan Tours' services, hotel partners, and to experience Oman's attractions, rich cuisine, and local hospitality. The nearly week-long trip began and ended in the capital city of Muscat, which has a population of 1.5 million. During the trip, we visited the desert and the breathtaking heights of the Green Mountains (Jebel Akhdar), which are well over 2000 meters high. We reached the Omani capital via Flydubai's night flight, with perfect connections through Dubai.

We visited nearly 10 local hotels, including city business hotels, seaside resorts, desert luxury camps, and high mountain resorts, experiencing stays in 4-star, 5-star, and luxury categories. We had the opportunity to explore services from hotel brands such as Shangri-La, W, Kempinski, Anantara, Crown Plaza, and Alila. A common feature among all the accommodations we visited was that they each offered MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) services.
